I know everyone is over winter already. It’s only January and I feel like this winter has dragged on forever! With a few trips on the horizon, I have already been shopping some early spring pieces. I swear, I always find the best pieces in January or February; you have to snag up the good stuff before it is gone! Loving this pink and red one piece, a cute dress that can double as a cover-up, cute flip flops and the Clare V. Straw Bag; perfect for travel and all summer long!

Happy New Year everyone! I feel so behind on posting; it’s been a whirlwind holiday break! It’s impossible to get anything done when you have guests in town for a week…and with the holidays. So, I figured I will start back before Christmas and share some highlights of our trip to New York.
The trip was a surprise from my husband. My brother and Mom got into town early the week of Christmas and obviously they were in on the secret. We went to dinner on Wednesday night and he orders a bottle of champagne, makes a toast and tells me to pack a bag because we are leaving at 6AM for 2 days in NYC! It is hard to get anything past me; and so for him to pull of this sort of surprise was pretty amazing. I had not been to NY in 8 years; so I was very excited to get back and experience it at Christmas time.… Continue Reading
We traveled to Wisconsin this weekend to celebrate the wedding of our friends, Jerry and Haley. The wedding was set to be at the American Club is located in Kohler, Wisconsin an hour from the Milwaukee airport. Kohler itself is the home of the kitchen and bath company, and also nestled in this small town is the gorgeous American Club Resort. Known for their golf courses and spa, this resort is quite a destination for many people in the midwest and beyond. This hidden gem has been high on my list to visit for many years, so I was excited when we had a reason to go!
The resort is tiny and charming; you feel like you are transported back in time.
The bride and groom stayed at the exclusive “River Bend” portion of the resort. It is members only and it is BEYOND; very “great gatsby”. It is a large mansion with 30 rooms that used to belong to the Kohler Family.… Continue Reading
I can’t believe it is August already! This summer has gone by so fast. Sorry for the lack of blogging and content; it’s hard to keep up during the summer. The last few weeks have been busy with travel. We are prepping for another trip this weekend for a wedding up North.
Our week in California was amazing. We packed a lot into 7 days; and it was fun overload for the kids. We always love visiting our best friends who live there; the kids get along great which makes it so easy for everyone to be together.
Our friends recently moved to Palos Verdes which is about 45 minutes from LAX. It’s a beautiful, quiet town that sits up on the cliffs overlooking the water. I love that they get both the beach and cliff landscapes.
We hiked one day down the cliffs to an untouched area called “seaglass beach”.… Continue Reading
Sorry for the hiatus from blogging, but we have been on vacation for the past week. I decided to try to step away from my computer and just enjoy time with my family. I didn’t even check email for 4 days which felt REALLY good. We had the best time; the weather was amazing, the kids had a blast and I got to spend time with my parents.
The weather was perfect, so we spent most of our time at the pool…
V. decided she didn’t want to wear floaties anymore so we spent the week teaching her how to swim. She is fearless and very comfortable in the water. She caught on very quickly and was swimming great by the time we left. She was so worn out, she would nap each day…which she never does at home. Love a sleeping baby 🙂
We took the kids to Butterfly Wonderland which is just outside of Scottsdale.… Continue Reading
