This week I helped host a holiday trend presentation with Park Place for some of KC’s style setters. It was 90 degrees, and on a rooftop…I didn’t want to be too “fall” or too “spring”. I think this outfit ended up being the perfect choice for a rooftop party in September.
Head to toe print can be intimidating! I wasn’t 100% sure about this outfit at first, but I love the simplicity of black and white, and a windowpane plaid is always classic. I added my big, blue Alexander Wang duffel to break up the print and I kept my jewelry simple with simple studs and some gold bracelets.

To the shows I wore a knit mock turtleneck and skirt from H&M, and my new favorite shoes by Michael from Off Broadway (you won’t believe the price!!!). I felt very feminine in this outfit; I am really loving the return of the fuller skirt!
We took the occasion and made a girls night of it, dining at Michael Smith’s Extra Virgin before and then attending the show after.
