Hurry before the good stuff is gone! Shopbop has started their Buy More, Save More sale, where you can earn up to 25% off your purchase.
There are SO many good things. I haven’t quite decided what to pull the trigger on. I am loving these Dolce Vita Sandals, an easy sundress (under $100) perfect for Spring Break, and this Loeffler Randall tote which would carry me through Spring and Summer.
I scoured their most recent arrivals, and here are my favorites…
Halls; our gorgeous department store in Kansas City turns 100 this year! They have been bringing cutting edge fashion to KC for the last century, and they are celebrating…
throughout the store they have vignettes celebrating all of the decades of fashion; you will find cool old photos of Hall’s, as well as vintage clothing that is to die for. It was fun to take a trip back in time, and to see how many styles have come back into fashion!
Amy @stepsofstyle and I spent a fun afternoon scoping out some items for fall, and lunching at their in store cafe.
My favorite section is of course the bags. I am a Prada girl, and I loved seeing the new styles/colors for the season.
I love that their styles are so classic; you will never tire of a Prada bag 🙂 They also have a great selection of Gucci, Loeffler Randall, Rebecca Minkoff and Tory Burch
Amy fell in love with some Tom Ford’s in the sunglass department
We admired the beautiful shoe department.… Continue Reading
It’s amazing to me how much Kansas City is growing and evolving. I love all the local brands and businesses that have been popping up in the past few years. Two new faves of mine are 1889 Pizza in Mission and The Jeweled Gypsy on The Country Club Plaza.
1889 Neopolitan Pizza just opened a few weeks ago in the strip mall right by Joe’s and Taco Republic. From the decor to the pizza, you will love the entire experience. They have custom pizzas, or you can do a make your own. They have some great apps to choose from and a nice wine and beer selection. The owner told us they are adding desserts soon!
We tried the Tre Truffi which was 3 different dips paired with bread. This was a hit with everyone, including the kids
I tried “the Mahalo”, which is their take on a Hawaiian pizza. They add chicken and jalapenos (which I did not get) But it was very good!… Continue Reading
When we were in California I discovered Lou & Grey. It is a boutique in The Point (In Manhattan Beach). I had looked in the windows before taking my Soul Cycle class and I fell in love. The entire aesthetic of the store, the attention to detail, the soft fabrics, beautiful color palette, and designs were calling my name…
I can’t tell you how much I love this store; it is the perfect mix of boho/classic/sophisticated/chic. They have great basics that don’t look “basic”. They use super soft, easy to care for fabrics. And they do a great job in providing a color palette that allows you to mix and match pieces with ease. It felt like a mix between Club Monaco, J.Crew and Zara. Literally, the perfect combination! Prices range between $20-$150 (most around $40-$50)
The day I happened to be there they were having a huge sale; an additional 40% off sale items, and then $50 off if you spend $150 or more.… Continue Reading
The Nordstrom Anniversary sale goes public tomorrow! I can’t believe how quickly sizes have sold out on things. This is your last chance to scoop up some of your favorites before they are gone! The Patagonia’s are a great deal, and this is a great time to pick up your kids shoes for fall.
I scouted the kids departments and here are some of my faves…
